Capturing a Guinness World Record

The Brief

When Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman broke the Guinness World Record for the longest single-charge electric motorcycle ride, Generate Media was there every step of the way—capturing, producing, and sharing this historic achievement.

Our goal was clear: showcase and amplify the Verge TS Pro’s capabilities. This wasn’t just about filming a ride—it was about highlighting the future of sustainable transport.

Pre-Production:

GM collaborated closely with Verge Motorcycles, Webfleet, and the riders to fully understand route logistics, telemetry data points, and key storytelling moments.

We prepared for 16 hours of continuous filming, ensuring we had backup systems and contingency plans in place.

On the Ground:

Deploying a dedicated crew to follow the journey, we captured dynamic shots using chase vehicles, drones, and on-bike cameras.

Maintaining constant communication was crucial to anticipate key milestones, ensuring no critical moment was missed.

Strategic battery swaps and portable charging stations enabled us to keep our equipment ticking.

Post-Production:

Hours of footage were compiled and transformed into an engaging, concise narrative to be used across various stakeholder channels.

Both the human element and technical achievement were captured in every frame—highlighting emotion, endurance, and innovation.

A success!

Sam & Sara set a new Guinness World Record for an electric motorcycle—289.7 kilometres on a single charge.

Our video content provided Verge Motorcycles’ and Webfleet’s channels with a healthy boost—and became key evidence for the Guinness World Records verification process!

“Generate Media didn’t just capture the event—they brought the story to life. Their professionalism and creativity were instrumental in showcasing this achievement to a global audience.”
